The brief was to optimise the exceptional panoramic views and create a confident, chic aesthetic with ample opportunity to entertain both inside and outside, while providing a private retreat from the bustling rhythm of the city below. Not surprisingly then, the penthouse features floor-to-ceiling windows throughout to take advantage of sweeping views of the CBD, Albert Park and Port Phillip to the south and lush greenery of the Royal Botanic Gardens to the east and beyond.Crafted from the finest materials, the living area is characterised by arched doorways, black detailing and contrasting wood panelled and a grey marbled feature wall and with timber flooring throughout – bringing a bold, textured and sophisticated edge to the home. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with Gaggenau appliances and features a grey marble island and adjoining circular black glassed table, custom built cabinetry, an integrated fridge, butler’s pantry and separate bar with two sleek wine fridges. The light-filled master bedroom has skyline views and a spacious ensuite with high end finishes, contrasting dark wall panelling with a light veined marble countertop for a luxuriously serene feel. Upstairs bedrooms continue the main bedroom design elements, with floor to ceiling windows and soft, neutral hues.Marbled glass stairs lead to the expansive roof deck with its partially covered and protected lounge space, outdoor bar and decked spa area – perfect for both private entertaining and relaxation, with city views elevating the ambience. The end result is a meticulously crafted home that creates a private sanctuary yet still feels connected to everything as far as the eye can see.Resident building facilities also include an infinity-edge pool with skyline views, and a communal steam room and gymnasium, all spread over two levels in the tower building.
