It might have been popular in mid-century, but that hasn’t stopped Terrazzo from making a comeback.

Terrazzo is a composite of various stones such as marble, quartz and granite held together with a binder. This is then rolled-out, ground and polished to create a smooth surface.

It can be used interchangeably with marble and is known for being durable and low-maintenance.

This makes Terrazzo a great option for flooring, in kitchens and bathrooms. These days it’s even being incorporated into furniture, lighting and decor.
