Simple but with impact

This bathroom had to offer comprehensive functionality for family while at the same time creating a dramatic look for occasional guests

The bathroom was to be a practical space

From the designer:

This lower bathroom was a result of a collaboration of ideas between the owner & designer.

Moody, sophisticated & simple are some ways to describe this bathroom.

The bathroom was to be a practical space and required a bath, shower, vanity & toilet.

The bathroom would be used by house guests as well as the homeowner’s daughters.

For the owner, this meant the space needed to be dramatic, as well as practical.

The Warm Sunset tapware was specified to tie

The palette plays with textured tiles by Tile Warehouse.

One wall has a feature herringbone wall juxtaposed to a classic grey 300x600mm tile.

We wanted to play with two different tap finishes – Black & brushed Warm Sunset.

The Warm Sunset was chosen to tie in with the feature Tom Dixon wall pendant.

The custom made vanity cabinetry in Bestwood & the 12mm top in Dekton.

This is a testament to the owner’s experience with building & the effective relationship between builder, designer and homeowner.

The shower walls are in Rosewood White tile,
