To satisfy all these needs the owners had chosen a German Poggenpohl kitchen, engineered with everything from timber cutlery inserts to electrically opened drawers without handles. This takes the form of two tall banks of perimeter cabinetry – divided by an entry space – combined with a generous-sized island. The kitchen is easy to use from every perspective with the cabinetry all pulling open for excellent access to every nook and cranny and the massive eating bench on the outside of the island being ideal for children's casual mealtimes.
