Luxury waterfront home has ocean vistas on one side and a private pool courtyard on the other

What does luxury living mean for you? Well, this home by Urbane Projects probably has it covered. Sea views from everywhere, two garages, a cinema room and a wing for the grandchildren are just the start ...

Designed by Urbane Projects

From the architectural designer:

Spread over three levels on a waterfront site, this iconic home has a sweeping ocean vista from almost every room, with a special bedroom wing for the homeowners' grandchildren to stay.

Of course, beautiful, immediate sea views often come with the changeable weather associated with coastal living. The house responds to this – being shaped around a protected courtyard and pool space.

However, while sheltered from on-shore wind by the home itself, the entertainer's space enjoys full uninterrupted views of the sea via a generous vista right through an alfesco living space and the double height family room beyond, which has dramatic double height walls of glass facing the ocean.

The home also boasts the unusual luxury of having two garages. One is accessed from the side street while an eight-car undercroft garage, accessed from the front of the home, houses the owners' prized car collection. Lifting the home to accommodate the expansive garage further optimises ocean views.

An interior palette of oak floorboards and Bernini stone floors link the interior to the coastline while opulent wallpapers, waterfall marble benchtops and statement light fittings give the home a resplendency befitting of its world-class location.

A wine cellar, gym, lift, cinema room, parents retreat and lounge with private bar are amongst other luxury inclusions.
