Kitchen cabinetry finishes at the pitching point of the roof, while the rangehood extends to the ceiling, giving a strong focus to the cooking area and emphasising the ceiling height. The porcelain-clad feature island sits centrally and provides an additional seating area, its angled design tying in with the angled ceiling without deliberately matching it. The TIDA judges were impressed with how all the elements of this kitchen perfectly complement and contribute to the dramatic space it sits in.
