This new home by Starr Constructions accommodates all this and more. Director Nino Sanzari says an old single-storey house was removed from the property before work started. And because the land was flat, the team was able to maximise the full site to create a two-storey family home with numerous special features.

"The house is just as much about the outdoor living areas as the indoor," he says. "All the living rooms flow to the outdoors, and there is a sheltered alfresco area that can be enjoyed all year round. A pool is set right up against the dining room window to enhance the connection between inside and out."

"The clients made several changes on the materials and finishes during the project and we were able to accommodate these to ensure they were happy with the end result," says Sanzari.
