The owners of this stunning new build in Auckland invited Cube Dentro to complete a crisp and timeless design for their ensuite.

Design brief must-haves included clean lines, functionality and cohesion with the other utility rooms across the house.

A typical white bathroom was off the wish-list with preference for something moody and luxurious.

The resulting design has embraced a practical his & her space with commitment to originality.

The predominant colour choice in moody charcoal has upped the luxe vibe.

Highlights of this well-considered project include:

• On trend reeded glass shower screens with corrugated texture on the outside to create a visual showcase, while their distorted look adds privacy, too.
• Assisting with a modern style are wall mounted mixers which also have the benefit of keeping the benchtop clear.
• Matching Aged iron basins and tapware are a fantastic design inclusion, while adding practicality for a busy couple.
• The basins are perched on a crisp white marble countertop with dark veining which contrasts the white veining in the floor and wall tiles – opposites attract!
• The white marble countertop stretching across three-quarters of the floating vanity unit is playful and unexpected – but also complements the guest bathroom for cohesion.
• Again for design consistency, the shutters on the window are a repeat feature from the guest bathroom and look great.
• Warm strip lighting and brass wall-hung feature pendants all play their part to exude space, purpose and ambience.

Our homeowners couldn’t be happier with the design expression and practicality of their individual ensuite.
