The homeowners wanted a little bit of glam and a nod to the Mid century feel of the home. The owners' love their collection of 50s/60s era furniture and the new spaces needed to be sympathetic to these and to feel like it belonged in the home while also feeling contemporary and fresh. The owners also love splashes of bright colour but wanted to be able to add these in furnishing and art – so the palette for the renovation scheme we created with a mix of rich brass and bronze metallics, stone and pattern creates an overall theme for the home. From the master bedroom with its earthy soft tones feeling tranquil and stepping through the walk-through wardrobe of His and Hers sides with accents of bronze panels leads to their new ensuite. The space for the ensuite was made larger by rearranging the family bathroom and pushing a wall out. This allowed space for the walk though wardrobes and large double vanity and shower with His and hers at opposite ends.Reeded glass, deep bronze vanity cabinets and a bold pattern metallic wallpaper add the Mid century feel and a lux vibe.Feature lights backlighting floor to ceiling mirrors and the wall to wall recess in shower add a luxury feel, highlighting the multiple patterns and textures of the space.
