An interior makeover blends with the era of the home and avoids fighting with the 1990s home's striking views over Lake Wakatipu and The Remarkables

Interiors by Carmen Hubber, Hub Design

From the interior designer:

This project was a deep renovation of a residence from the 90s.

The scope of work encapsulated the stripping of all existing furnishings and remodeling the layout to create an open, airy space for our homeowners with a sophisticated clean, fresh and high-end style.

The new interiors blend with the era of the home and were carefully considered so as to not fight with the striking views over Lake Wakatipu and the Remarkables.

We envisioned this project as though it was almost a new build.

We made structural changes, designed a new kitchen and bathrooms, remodelled the indoor pool area, and put in new flooring throughout.

In addition, we introduced new window furnishings, soft furnishings, and lighting design as well as replacing door hardware and the front door, and sourcing artwork and lastly styling the interiors.
