This Gold award-winning pool by Acacia Pools dovetails with other needs on the property while making the most of its rural outlooks

Modest sized but big on fulfilling a quite specific brief, this sparkling rural pool by Acacia Landscapes & Pool Construction Ltd (Acacia Pools) won Gold in the Pools up to 60K category for the NZ Pool Industry Association Awards.

The brief

The homeowner was looking for a pool to work in a small area of the back garden so a the grass area was still available for the children to play on.

Achieving the right proportions was vital, with pool, lawn and entertainment spaces all balanced and designed to fit.

The owner had the pool designed – by Mark Cashmore Design – to sit nicely below the outdoor entertainment area and allowing it to be easily accessed from the family living spaces.
