One is clad with timber weatherboards and plaster accents, while the other has a plaster finish and timber accents.
Each house achieves individual aesthetics through cladding choice and roof orientation – and each house complements its neighbour.
The similar but different forms create internal volume and voids throughout living spaces.
Townhouse A
Townhouse A, designed as one of a pair, features a plaster finish on the exterior with timber cladding elements introduced for contrasting texture and depth.
Indoors, a timber stair links the spaces on multiple levels, creating a feeling of warmth and providing continuity throughout the home.
The home's individual form complements its immediate neighbour but sets it apart from others in the neighbourhood.
The form of the townhouse was chosen to maximise building area – resulting in roomy, soaring interior spaces that lift the spirit of occupants and visitors alike.
Shared garden
The two units complement each other, sharing central garden space to extend individual views, while providing privacy to living spaces.
