The large shower was positioned behind a tiled wall which provided a large open area to shower in and privacy if someone else wanted to use the vanity at the same time. The vanity has a vessel basin with a high goose neck kitchen mixer tap instead of a bathroom mixer so guests can fill their kettle or grab a glass of water without having to visit the main kitchen. The colour scheme is kept neutral to work in with the rest of the home’s modern interior.Dark linear tiles are laid vertically to create interest and pattern and these are teamed up with large rustic textured stone porcelain tiles. A duo of soft pendant lights are positioned asymmetrically to the basin to add softness to the room.A long shelf is positioned below the vanity benchtop for guest towels while a deep drawer stores other items, like spare toilet rolls. The toilet is set behind the door, so it is hidden from view but takes in the views out the window towards the trees.
