This latest showhome showcases the best of Design & Build and what can be achieved alongside the Classic Builders team.

Classic Builders' Bay of Plenty regional manager Callum Armstrong sets the scene for the company's latest showhome on the Omokoroa peninsula.

"We are quite passionate about Omokoroa – it really is a blossoming community. 

"I've been living here off and on for my whole life and I remember when it was really just a gravel road to one shop – now we've got nearly 6,000 people living on the peninsula and that's predicted to grow by another five or six thousand over the next five years. 

"Omokoroa is its own self-sufficient community just 25 minutes' drive from Tauranga," he says. "There's a new village development underway that will incorporate cafes, restaurants, a medical hub and offices together with a new town centre that will have a large supermarket, too."

Famous for its rich produce and seafood, the seaside suburb is surrounded by nature's beauty, offering great outdoor activities – everything from a daily dip in the blue ocean to a range of adventure and sporting facilities.

The deck's operable louvres can be activated via your phone or by rain sensors and the same is the case with the home's operable skylights in the living area, bringing additional light into the soaring 3m-high spaces.
