Bathing amongst the reeds

From the designer:

• The brief for this project was to create a larger more functional ensuite bathroom – one that was light & spacious, yet textured with gentle curves – this flows on cohesively from their recent kitchen installation with a curved and fluted island
• In response, we removed the walk in wardrobe adjacent to the ensuite and repositioned this along another wall in the master which created the space required for a walk in shower and much larger vanity
• We relocated the toilet and also added a nib wall for privacy when you enter the bathroom and to also remove it from initial sight

• I specified Corian Terrazzo in Domino for the curved custom vanity including the drawer fronts which were then fluted to enhance the texture of the pattern and the Corian itself
• The basins are custom Corian ovals and the Citta mirrors are also gently curved – plus, the limited edition Soktas Ollo wall sconce in Tea is also gently curved and adds a gentle pop of colour
• The reeded glass shower screen complements the vertical lines of the fluted vanity and also adds more texture to the space
• Plumbline Buddy & tapware fixtures were specified in Brushed Nickel for a timeless finish and also to enhance the soft grey fleck within the Terrazzo vanity
• The space was tiled floor to ceiling in a neutral tile to create a more spacious and hotel-like aesthetic
