Bath and then bed

Owner requests

• The homeowners wanted this bathroom to match the other bathrooms that were being renovated in the house.
• They requested his and hers areas in the bathroom. 
• Plus, they wanted something a little bit different so were keen on the idea of having a bath in the bedroom as there wasn’t enough space in the ensuite.

What we achieved

• Brown tones were used for the tiles and vanity, creating an earthy theme that connected the bathroom with both the other bathrooms and the forest area outside.
• A large composite marble stone bath was placed in the bedroom with a chandelier above for a wow factor!
• His and hers sinks were again used with the copper tapware, which stood out nicely against the brown tiles

Issues encountered

• Access to the property was an issue and all of the tools and bathroomware had to be transported to the property in smaller vehicles that could fit down the drive.
• The bath weighed more than 200kg and so it was a challenge to get it upstairs without causing any damage to the bath – or the staff!
