Armstrong Interiors wins 2020 TIDA New Zealand Interior Design of the Year
Congratulations to Armstrong Interiors, winner of TIDA New Zealand Interior Design of the Year. See more of this sophisticated apartment-style interior
This large scale renovation saw a four-bedroom home converted to a low-maintenance, three-bedroom home with larger rooms and an easy-living apartment style.
When it came to the interiors, the owner wanted a minimal colour palette, with dark and masculine colours and textures.

Leathered bluestone walls,150-year-old reclaimed French oak flooring, and large sheets of burnished steel for the fireplace surround all contribute to the opulent yet understated effect.
High-end products throughout the interior add to the sense of scale, including in the new ensuites and the fully equipped gym space, complete with kitchen and wet room.
The TIDA judges were impressed with how the designer's selection of materials, fittings and furniture has met the brief and achieved such a cohesive flow throughout the full range of interior spaces.
