The projectThe new kitchen, living and outdoor area has an easy flow and is the main hub of the house. The outdoor deck area is covered by a louvre roof which creates indoor-out door flow even in variable weather and provides a second living area for busy social occasions.Plus the deck area connects the pool and landscape to the house. Indoors, the bedrooms and bathrooms are elegantly finished with subtle tones and textures that help brighten up the rooms and make them feel more spacious. Plus, the windows have been made bigger to maximise the view. The new exterior façade and landscape are designed to subtly update the character and feel of the building.Lighter tones have been applied to the facade to make it feel less heavy and to act as a neutral canvas complementing the green landscape surrounding it. The outcomeOverall, the energy and excitement of the owners throughout the process was catching.Every aspect was thought through with the vision of their family and friends creating happy memories in these spaces for years to come. From the homeowners: "Getting the renovation process started was quite a daunting thought. We have a big family and live very busy lives, which didn’t leave a lot of time to focus on a renovation. Buildology came highly recommended and they made the whole experience and process so much easier. "They were great at exploring every design question we had at the start, and then following through in the execution. Their enthusiasm and energy never faded and they truly shared in the experience with us every step of the way."See this story on Instagram Credit list Renovating architectural designers Buildology Designed by: Buildology Story by: Trendsideas 04 Jul, 2021 Renovation Buildology Architectural + Design Trendsideas Home kitchen bathroom commercial design Latest Post Deep in the jungle 22 Dec, 2024 Mixing it up 22 Dec, 2024 Everyday opulence 15 Dec, 2024 We know the Specialists Related Book More Books > Renovations Renovating your home is an opportunity to refresh, expand and renew.
