Activating charcoal
Dramatic in charcoal/grey tones, this kitchen uses the substantial island for cooking and also as a privacy buffer from the public spaces
Designed by Leon House, Leon House Design
From the kitchen designer:
The setting
- House set at back of block, views of river, connected to hill on side of house
- Deep feel to the house, small(ish) footprint
Features
- High teppanyaki style bar system
- Owners originally wanted cooking at back of kitchen but were Leon House’d during construction to move them to centre island
- A blockading island gives privacy to the kitchen while still connected to dining and alfresco
advertisement
- Common colours – deep grey / chocolate / dark grey / charcoal benchtops, virgin white doors
- Integrated Liebherr fridges
- Siemens appliances
- Laundry is behind the kitchen so we wanted to control the look through, while keeping functionality
