Dominion Constructors were appointed by Carter Holt Harvey as the main contractor to construct the temporary structure of the New Zealand Pavilion for the Americas Cup 2002.

The Pavilion was commissioned to celebrate New Zealand’s leaders in innovation – past, present and future – and to highlight the innovative and entrepreneurial spirit driving New Zealand’s success.

There were 60 monitors inside the Pavilion, featuring innovative companies in the biotechnology, ICT, creative, and niche manufacturing industry sectors.

The Pavilion was open to the public, free of charge, until the conclusion of the America’s Cup in March 2003.
