SHARP vanity basins collections – the family grows and wins ADI CERAMICS DESIGN AWARD 2016

Sharp – the new collection of vanity basins from Simas, designed by Simone Anzellini – was awarded with the ADI Ceramics Design Award honourable mention at Cersaie 2016. Simas was the only manufacturer of ceramics sanitary ware to get this special praise. The award acknowledged Simas' use of vitreous china in an unusual way throughout the whole Sharp basins collection, as well as the variety of the colour range. “We managed to combine a thickness of 3 millimetres with a material as vitreous china that blends, solidifies and vitrifies at 1200°C.
