Landscaping around the new Waiheke library, Waiheke Pataka Korero, includes a garden parts of it are edible. The curved battens, cut from a single piece of wood, create an undulating, organic pattern around the building. These were designed by local artist Kazu Nakagawa. The architecture is by Pacific Environments NZ.
