The living room of this lakefront house has a 9ft 6in ceiling with painted beams. The walls feature Venetian plaster that has been troweled on in seven thin layers to provide visual depth. The beam nearest to the windows conceals motorized blinds. Inward-opening patio doors open up the entire room to the veranda. The house was designed by architect Kurt Baum and built by Streeter Homes.
