Total transformation of 1980s duplex penthouse results in attractive open-plan interiors and vastly improved layout

​​​​​​​In the transformation of this Manhattan penthouse, the original dated interior was stripped out exposing the base concrete columns and floors. These were contrasted with the slicker materials used in the renovated interior scheme by architect Andrew Wilkinson.
