Take the subtle approach to your kitchen design

A 2.5cm-thick glass counter sits at dining table height on the front of this island, allowing the use of more comfortable seating than a breakfast bar stool. There is no splashback as such in this kitchen, as the work counters back onto windows. These are sandblasted glass to screen out neighbours and include two operable side panes to aid cross-ventilation.
