Left: Faucets and shower fittings in this bathroom were inspired by Modernist designs. These were chosen to complement the era of the house, which was built in 1915. The hexagonal Carrara marble floor tiles are also a fitting tribute, as is the Montclair Danby marble on the vanity and tub surround. To soften the overall look, the designer introduced light gray drapes to screen the shower over the tub.
