New campus gateway building has distinct form for each of its two main functional requirements

Research laboratories in the Synergy building are housed in a box-like structure clad in red Equitone panel. A large bank of windows on one corner of the building allows passers-by to see activities taking place inside – part of CSIRO’s desire to make their work more visible to the public.
