Mountain Visitor Centre

The visitor centre located at the top of the Viamala Gorge offers a stunning view of the pending 60 metre drop off located in the Swiss Alps.This particular work, designed by architects Ivano Iseppi and Stefan Kurath is part of a long term project intended to improve all infrastructure for visitors to the area. Previously only a small kiosk marked the site of the 110 year old staircase that descends into the gorge before it was replaced by the building in 2010.
