Exposed wood beams with metal strapping enhance the rugged character of this bar and den designed by Sandy LaMendola. The fireplace features a heavily textured, waxed plaster chimney capped by a solid iron beam. The fireplace screen and the television cabinet were custom built. A curved bar top and an intricate hand-painted ceiling help to visually soften the bar area. Appliances are integrated within the quarter-sawn oak cabinets, which have frame and flat-panel doors. The flooring features rift and quarter-sawn oak with decorative walnut accents.
