Architect Trevor Abramson took a relatively small 1960s ranch-style house on this elevated site and transformed it into a spacious open-plan home for an empty-nester couple. The original home was positioned on the right hand side and was stripped down to the studs and rebuilt to form the bedroom wing of the new home. The master bath and bed are positioned to look across the pool and outdoor living terrace to the view out to Santa Monica Bay.
