Connected to the land. Large-format sliding doors minimise the number of vertical lines in this lounge which is effectively a sheltered viewing gallery. The stone floor tiles are continued from the lounge out to the terrace, further blurring the lines between indoors and out. A nib wall and low glass balustrade frame the setting without detracting from it. The landscaping is built up to terrace height at right, avoiding need for safety balustrading in this area.
