Pre-weathered copper clads the gables of Knox Church in Christchurch, which has been fully restored following the February 2011 earthquake. The restoration project included the construction of new walls and earthquake strengthening. The asymmetric elements on the gables ensure the exterior reads as a contemporary design that is a clear contrast to the traditional triptych Gothic Revival church architecture. The design is by Wilkie + Bruce Architects.
