In this major renovation of Omana Lodge, volcanic rock dug up to make way for the solar-heated pool and spa was re-used as cladding on the garage and to create retaining walls. Exotic trees have been replaced with natives to give the gardens a Pacific Rim flavour. The expansive media room takes up the ground level of the circular addition. The renovation design is by Constable Hurst Architects.
