Contemporary California house with modernist influence features cantilevered wings

The house is rather closed off to the street on the front elevation, with the exception of the entry, which is a large, fully glazed portal, inset with a bonded bronze door. The double-height volume continues through to the other side where it forms one of the cantilevered elements. The wing on the left accommodates the garaging the doors are hidden around the other side. This wall is clad in Porcelanosa tiles with a rich woodgrain patina.
