A place to gather in, to relax in, and even to prepare meals in. The soul of a home is its kitchen a place of utility and society. To ensure your kitchen enhances your lifestyle, it makes sense to approach a cabinetry specialist that uses fine wood-working techniques, but also appreciates the high-tech efficiency that the modern world has to offer.

Southbridge Cabinetry creates personalized kitchens in a variety of styles Hudson Valley, Renaissance, Acorn and Imperial. These four lines offer an impressive product range that brings the best of the old world and the new to your home, says marketing manager Tanya Thomas.

"Traditional wood craftsmanship is evident in all our designs," she says. "However, we use the latest internal solutions technology along with enduring joinery and multi-layered glazes."

Southbridge's fully customized Acorn, Renaissance and Hudson Valley kitchens, and the semi-customized Imperial range, all reflect an attention to detail that is seen in the end result.

The Imperial range offers high-end design for a modest investment. This kitchen blurs the line between traditional and transitional. For example, the Imperial has classic door profiles but with a softer, less formal emphasis. Standard components can be combined to individualistic effect.

Acorn kitchens draw on the grandeur of fine antique furniture, with stacked moldings, detailed corbels and a variety of patina finishes.

A Renaissance kitchen represents a refined take on a more contemporary style, with a European design emphasis. Exotic woods, such as wenge and zebrano, are featured in this kitchen line.

The Hudson Valley Collection evokes the best of cabinet-making traditions. Historic architectural elements such as one inch-thick doors provide effortless access to all-wood interiors.

"This collection is modeled on the kitchens in manor houses of the Hudson Valley, with all the richness associated with those homes," says Thomas.

These kitchens can be customized with a variety of finishes and features. They have deep cabinets, solid wood drawers with soft-closing mechanisms and self-closing hinges, plus one central element in common high-end manufacturing. An eight-step inspection process ensures quality control .
