TIDA Australia 2017 – Designer kitchen winner – Urbane Projects

From the designer: The Applecross residence was originally inspired by the client brief of a three level spiral staircase. We took this brief and encapsulated the central spiral sculpture with a family home. The spiral stairs inspired soft sweeping curves throughout the building fabric which included a beautiful curved window in the kitchen meals zone. The kitchen is framed by the view of the swan river and overlooks the rear garden and pool, being the true epicentre of the home. In this instance Urbane brought detail to the next level, every facet of the design was carefully considered and ensured flow and continuity through the home.
