Mawhinney says the OB30 was built with the cook's needs in mind. The oven has numerous user-friendly features, nine cooking modes and a high-tech True Convection system for even heat distribution. It also has a large, 3.5cu ft capacity so you can cook several dishes simultaneously.

The easy-to-use controls incorporate illuminated color rings around the knobs. These change from red to white when the desired temperature has been reached.

Refrigeration is also in the spotlight. Fisher & Paykel's new CoolDrawer is a natural extension of the company's renowned DishDrawer concept. This modular drawer refrigerator allows you to customize your refrigeration, and position it exactly where you need it. Mawhinney says the CoolDrawer helps streamline meal preparation and has clear ergonomic benefits stored items can be reached easily without bending.

"But, most importantly, the refrigeration can be personalized at the simple touch of a button. The drawers can be programmed to freeze or chill food or wine at the desired temperature."

The drawers are available in stainless steel, or they can be fully integrated into kitchen cabinets for a seamless look.
