NZ Wood has announced the eagerly-awaited Stage Two Finalists for the 2018 NZ Wood-Resene Timber Design Awards.This is New Zealand’s only timber design award event and allows engineers, architects, architectural designers and builders to showcase innovation using timber, says Debbie Fergie, NZ Wood’s Promotion Manager.

“Both local and international companies look to these awards for timber design inspiration. Our projects are the equal of others worldwide, as this year’s crop of entries proves!”

She says that competition has once again been extremely close, and that judges were hard pressed to make their selections.

“We thank everyone who entered the awards,” she said, “and hope you will enter again next time too.”

Stage Two of the judging process will take place on August 7, when category winners and the supreme winner will bedecided. All winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner at the Grand Millenium Hotel in Auckland on September 20, 2018. See more.
