Smartstone quartz surfaces are manufactured with a minimum of 93% quartz, combined with pigments and resins which make the surface highly durable.
Smartstone are quartz surfaces designed to offer high performance with low maintenance, and being non-porous, they will never need sealing or waxing. They come in beautiful, affordable and all larger slabs measuring 3200mm x 1600mm, and replicate some of the world’s most luxurious natural stone surfaces with their distinctive veining on a luminous white background, including refined grains and natural looking patterns.
Smartstone surfaces offer superior durability and practicality. Because the surfaces are manufactured from natural materials, each slab is unique and will contain variations in shading, reflectivity and the distribution and appearance of quartz. These variations are naturally occurring characteristics of the material. The appearance of each slab will also vary depending on lighting conditions, placement and viewing angle.
Only a little commonsense is needed to care for Smartstone surface.In fact, Smartstone has been tested by the CSIRO, and due to its low moisture absorption, is resistant to stains caused by wine, fruit juices, liquid food colouring, tea and spices with strong colours.
