House hunters in Berkshire could own a magical property as the home used for Harry Potter goes up for sale
Better known as 4 Privet Drive, this home in Martins Heron, Bracknell was the set for the Dursley’s home in the first Harry Potter film.
In 2001 it was picked to be the home Harry Potter grew up in, in a cupboard under the stairs and now it is up for sale for £475,000 ($850,00 NZD)
According to the listing, the home is: 'Situated in a quiet cul-de-sac location, this detached property has recently undergone complete renovation to an extremely high standard.'
Once past the familiar driveway, there's a large reception room, kitchen and diner and bathroom on the ground floor.
The spacious garden has a large patio and grass area, perfect for families and entertaining.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms, including a master with an en-suite and a family bathroom.
And new owners will be able to make their own use of the cupboard under the stairs, which in the film was Harry's pokey bedroom, with crammed in shelves and a camp bed.
