The Property Council of New Zealand Rider Hunt Awards 2006 were held recently at Auckland's Sky City Convention Centre. Speakers at the event, held annually to celebrate pioneering developments in the country's property industry, this year included Leader of the Opposition, Don Brash, and Auckland City Mayor, Dick Hubbard. Dr Brash praised the quality of the designs seen throughout the awards ceremony, whilst Mr Hubbard noted the importance of promoting partnership between the City Council and developers in creating the vision for a great city. Stuart Kendon, who headed the judging panel for the awards, also paid tribute to the impressive quality of the award-winning projects. This year's Rider hunt Supreme Award went to Vodafone V.nue.
