While the Lalique fountain provides a dramatic and eye-catching feature in its own right, it also requires water and light to maximize its impact.
These additional elements were provided by Wetscapes, a company that specializes in the design, manufacture and installation of all types of water features.
Wetscapes designed a special base to support the fountain and conceal the pump and water pipes. It comprises a stainless steel tank with a patinated copper veneer and glass tiles, topped with onyx that is backlit with Flatlite electroluminescent Phosphor lighting from Artistic Lighting. The fountain is also lit with fiber-optic luminars that shoot into the air and light up the basin beneath it. Wetscapes provided an ozone water treatment system to purify the water so the crystal in the fountain is not discolored or damaged.

The stand for the Lalique fountain, designed by Wetscapes, has to support 1400lbs of crystal and onyx and at the same time look as if it is floating freely. Flatlite electroluminescent Phosphor lighting was supplied by Artistic Lighting.
