Hidden benefits - New integrated dishdrawer by Fisher & Paykel and DCS Fisher & Paykel from Kitchen Trends volume 2710
Streamlined cabinetry is one of the key designer looks for kitchens today – it's a trend that has evolved along with the demand for open-plan living spaces. But it has not always been so easy to ensure appliances are fully integrated.
All that is changing, however, thanks to the new generation DishDrawer™ dishwasher released under Fisher & Paykel and DCS by Fisher & Paykel brands. The new DishDrawer includes an integrated model that provides full concealment.
Scott Davies, marketing manager for Fisher & Paykel Appliances, says the integration has been achieved by rear venting and a fully adjustable door option.
"Wireless remote operation on these models eliminates the need for an external interface, retaining the clean lines of the cabinetry," Davies says.
"All models – integrated, stainless steel, white and black – have improved wash, energy and water performance, and increased the accommodation for place settings from six to seven."
Other improvements include a new racking system providing an adjustable bowl rack for large pasta dishes.
"With the focus on integration, the wireless remote operation, enhanced performance and designer elements, the latest chapter refines the DishDrawer platform to an even higher level," says Davies.
