The home's attractive landscape views are framed by high-end windows and doors, the latter also providing an easy indoor-outdoor flow.
Hy-Bar Windows & Doors designed and supplied a range of Andersen exterior windows, French doors and patio sliders for the residence, says design-and-sales director Todd Howell.
"Working to our designs, Andersen Windows custom manufactured its 400 series doors and windows for this project," says Howell. "Exterior finishes are in Terratone, a rich dark chocolate color, which blends well with the desert terrain.
"The interiors of the windows and doors are pine, also stained in a dark shade to complement the many wood accents in the home."
Of several custom picture windows designed by Hy-Bar, one – measuring 25ft x 14ft – presented special challenges.
"This feature window required fabrication of over two dozen pieces of frame, and template design and fabrication for nine pieces of arched glass to fit together," says Howell. "The result for the owners is a panoramic view of the adjacent golf course and the background of the Las Vegas strip."
