The UBS corporate branding evident throughout the
fit-out is complemented by the signage. Melbourne-based Rhino Signmakers was commissioned to supply all the signage for the fit-out – from the spray-painted aluminium reception sign to directional and statutory signage and window film.
Rhino Signmakers director Vin Merrett says the company works almost exclusively with architects and designers, undertaking commissions on a wide variety of projects, including retail developments.
"Much of our work involves illuminated signage for both corporate fit-outs and retail centres, as well as the type of signage undertaken for this project."
Vin Merrett says the company recently developed a new illuminated acrylic lettering, and is one of just a few companies in the world to manufacture such a product.
"Lumicryl is ideal for both reception and retail shop fit-outs," he says. "It is available in a numerous colours, and as it is a low-voltage, waterproof product, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use."
